Christine Baraka
Founder & CEO, Line Producer
Christine has been working in online video for 11 years since she started her first YouTube channel. In 2011, she co-created The Happy Family Show along with her brother Kevin Jones, pioneering the “playmation” filmmaking technique. It went on to gain over 200 million views over the next 7 years and a half million fans worldwide. After this, she went on to work in digital advertising, and then founded Playmation Studios, under which she directed and produced several more shorts for well-known brands such as Netflix, DreamWorks Animation, NBC Universal, and Jurassic World. Today she serves as Line Producer on all Playmation shorts, and resides in Dallas, TX with her husband.
Kevin Jones
Head Puppeteer / Sound Designer / Writer
Kevin started crafting the puppeteering style used in Playmation videos nearly a decade ago while co-creating The Happy Family Show with his sister Christine in 2011. Since then he’s become an accomplished writer, editor, and sound designer for all of Playmation’s productions which have garnered nearly 250 million views in total. Kevin is also an award winning songwriter and music producer known for his indie-pop project Sweet Mylo which has garnered over a million streams on Spotify and has a steadily growing fan base internationally. He currently resides in Nashville, TN with his wife.
Josh Jones
Cinematographer / VFX artist
Josh started working with his siblings in 2011 when they created The Happy Family Show web series. He has developed his skills and passion for filmmaking and photography over the last 11 years alongside his siblings, taking on anything from gaffer to cinematographer to a VFX artist. He has also worked as an actor, 1st AC, and editor for several local film and advertising companies. He currently resides in Indianapolis, IN.
